Product details & care
A padded, limited-slip collar that helps reduce backing out, with direct connections for your Fi tracker.
Handmade to order in Willow, Alaska, with polyester webbing, soft neoprene lining, and stainless steel rings and adjusters.
Fit: The standard collar slips over the head. Measure the neck and widest part of the head behind the ears; choose a size range that accommodates the larger measurement. The listed range is the fully extended opening—the control loop does not add extra inches. Choose the custom option if you need another size; Christine will follow up by email.
Fi compatibility: Select Fi Series 2 or Series 3/3+ in the available width. For Fi 3+ behavior tracking, the module needs room to hang and move naturally at the neck.
The optional Tactical Buckle is installed for easier on and off. Add-ons are included only when selected. Fi tracker and leash are not included.
Production: Allow up to 3 weeks; many orders ship sooner. Tracking is provided when your order ships.
Care: Clean with mild soap, gently scrub by hand, rinse thoroughly, and air-dry.
Use: For supervised walks and everyday wear. Not for tie-outs or unattended restraint.

WHY A MARTINGALE?
Secure when needed. Relaxed when it isn’t.
A martingale is a limited-slip collar. It sits relaxed during normal wear and reduces its opening when leash tension is applied, helping prevent a dog from backing out of the collar.
The standard EDG martingale is built without a buckle, so it must pass over the widest part of the head and then adjust at the neck. If you add the Tactical Buckle, the collar opens instead and neck measurement drives the size.
The goal is secure, properly fitted movement—not continuous pressure.
