Overview and Agreement
This website and online store are operated by Elite Dog Gear. In these Terms of Service, “Elite Dog Gear,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Elite Dog Gear.
By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the customer-facing policies and product-specific notices referenced on the site. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

Elite Dog Gear is owned and operated by Christine Marin Smith, doing business as Elite Dog Gear, with a mailing address at P.O. Box 397, Willow, Alaska 99688, United States.
Eligibility and Lawful Use
You may use this site only if you can enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. You may use the site, products, and services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
Handmade and Made-to-Order Products
Many Elite Dog Gear products are handmade and made to order. Minor variations in stitching, material placement, measurements within normal production tolerances, and color appearance may occur. Screen and device settings may also affect how colors appear. These normal variations are not defects.
Product Information, Sizing, and Compatibility
Elite Dog Gear makes reasonable efforts to describe products, sizing, materials, colors, options, and compatibility accurately.
Customers are responsible for reviewing sizing instructions and confirming the selections shown before checkout, including size, color, hardware, personalization, shipping information, and the exact Fi tracker model when compatibility matters.
Measurement and configuration guidance depends on the accuracy of the information supplied by the customer. A reference to compatible gear means the physical product is designed for the stated use or device; it does not guarantee third-party network coverage, app performance, subscription features, or uninterrupted tracking.
Orders and Acceptance
An order confirmation acknowledges that the order was received; it does not require Elite Dog Gear to accept or fulfill an order affected by a material pricing, availability, configuration, fraud-screening, or product-information error.
Elite Dog Gear may verify information, limit quantities, decline or cancel an order, or discontinue a product when reasonably necessary. If Elite Dog Gear cancels a paid order before fulfillment, the applicable payment will be refunded.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Send change or cancellation requests promptly. Because production may begin soon after an order is placed, a requested change or cancellation is not guaranteed after materials have been allocated, cutting or assembly has started, or personalization has begun.
If a cancellation is accepted, the applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method. Nothing in this section limits delay or refund rights required by applicable law.
Prices, Payments, and Taxes
Prices and applicable charges are shown during checkout and may change for future orders without notice.
Customers are responsible for taxes, customs duties, VAT, brokerage fees, and other charges identified at checkout or imposed by the destination jurisdiction.
Payments are processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers. Elite Dog Gear does not directly store full payment-card numbers.
Production and Shipping
Production times, carrier handling, tracking, address responsibilities, international shipping, delivery issues, and planned closures are governed by the Shipping Policy in effect when the order is placed.
Unless a product page states otherwise, the public approximate ship date for made-to-order products is 3 weeks from the order date, and many orders ship sooner.
Production schedules, ship dates, and carrier delivery dates are good-faith estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. A changed estimate or carrier delay after shipment does not by itself create a return or refund right.
If Elite Dog Gear cannot ship unshipped merchandise within the timeframe stated at purchase, Elite Dog Gear will provide any notice and options required by applicable law.
Returns, Exchanges, and Final-Sale Items
Returns, exchanges, fees, eligibility requirements, and final-sale categories are governed by the Return and Refund Policy in effect when the order is placed.
Product-specific notices shown on a product page or during configuration also apply. No final-sale or exchange restriction limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Fi Products and Services
Elite Dog Gear is an independent gear maker and retailer and is not Fi.
Fi GPS trackers, the Fi app, GPS or cellular connectivity, memberships or subscriptions, warranties, replacement programs, and technical support are provided under Fi’s current terms and policies. Fi’s terms may vary by product and purchase date.
Elite Dog Gear’s sale of Fi-compatible gear or Fi hardware does not replace Fi’s terms or guarantee Fi service availability. Customers must select the exact tracker model and compatible configuration.
Physical compatibility does not guarantee network coverage, location accuracy, battery performance, feature availability, or uninterrupted service.
Product Use, Inspection, and Safety
Use each product only as intended and follow all sizing, fitting, care, and compatibility instructions.
Check the fit and inspect the product regularly. Stop using any item that is cut, cracked, frayed, deformed, loose, or otherwise damaged.
No collar, harness, adapter, fastener, or tracking device is indestructible, escape-proof, or a substitute for appropriate supervision, restraint, identification, training, or veterinary advice.
Third-Party Products and Services
The site may link to or use services provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, review providers, and Fi.
Third-party products and services are governed by their own terms, warranties, privacy practices, availability, and support processes. Elite Dog Gear does not control a third party’s independent systems or services.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Elite Dog Gear’s original site content, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, branding, designs, and other original materials may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission.
Third-party names, marks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Reviews and Customer Content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, feedback, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
Submission and use of that content are also subject to any permissions presented by the applicable review or submission service. Nothing in these Terms prohibits or penalizes an honest consumer review.
Privacy
Personal information submitted through the store is handled according to the Elite Dog Gear Privacy Policy and the practices of applicable service providers, including Shopify and payment processors.
Errors and Corrections
Elite Dog Gear may correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, pricing errors, or omissions.
If a material error affects an order already placed, Elite Dog Gear may contact the customer to confirm a correction or may cancel and refund the affected item when appropriate.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the site for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, fraud, transmission of malicious code, unauthorized data collection, interference with security features, automated abuse, or other conduct that materially disrupts the site, its services, or another person’s rights.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. Elite Dog Gear does not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Product-specific warranties, if any, are limited to the written warranties expressly provided for that product. This section does not disclaim an express product promise or a warranty or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elite Dog Gear will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or a product.
Where liability may lawfully be limited but not excluded, Elite Dog Gear’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to that claim.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so they apply only to the extent lawful in the customer’s jurisdiction.
Events Outside Reasonable Control
Elite Dog Gear is not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as severe weather, wildfire, power or communications outages, carrier disruptions, supply interruptions, government action, or similar events.
These circumstances do not automatically create a return or refund right for shipped goods or custom work where applicable law permits continued fulfillment.
Elite Dog Gear will communicate material fulfillment delays and will follow any notice, consent, cancellation, and refund requirements imposed by applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply in the customer’s jurisdiction.
Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms, the order details, applicable product-specific notices, and the customer-facing policies referenced here form the agreement governing use of the site and purchases from Elite Dog Gear.
Changes to These Terms
Elite Dog Gear may update these Terms as the business, website, products, or legal requirements change.
The version posted when the site is used or an order is placed applies to that use or order, subject to applicable law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that already apply.
