The Arctic Circle is our streamlined, buckle-free collar designed for a clean, comfortable fit and dependable everyday wear. It slips over your dog’s head and adjusts at the neck, keeping the profile simple while delivering the durability you expect from Elite Dog Gear.
Built from durable utility-grade polyester webbing, lined with soft neoprene, and finished with marine-grade stainless steel hardware, every Arctic Circle is made for strength, comfort, and everyday use.
Because this collar slips over the head, the right fit starts with two measurements: your dog’s neck and the widest part of their head. We’ll use both to help you select the right size.

The Arctic Circle slips over the head, so fit is controlled by the larger of the neck and widest-head measurements. We’ll use that opening first, then show only compatible construction choices.
Measure the dog’s neck where the collar will sit and the widest part of the head. The collar must be able to pass over the larger measurement.
Choose the webbing width.
Colors marked “1 inch only” are removed when a 3/4 inch construction is selected.

WHY A MARTINGALE?
Secure when needed. Relaxed when it isn’t.
A martingale is a limited-slip collar. It sits relaxed during normal wear and reduces its opening when leash tension is applied, helping prevent a dog from backing out of the collar.
The standard EDG martingale is built without a buckle, so it must pass over the widest part of the head and then adjust at the neck. If you add the Tactical Buckle, the collar opens instead and neck measurement drives the size.
The goal is secure, properly fitted movement—not continuous pressure.
